Padmavati Ban – Maharashtra BJP Minister Mr Rawal Writes A Letter To CBFC Demanding: Controversies on Padmavati seem not going to end as Maharashtra Tourism Minister Jaykumar Rawal today requested a prohibition on the screening of the debate ridden film “Padmavati” in the state. Saying would not wrong that it has also stirred the whole matter once again. This decision has been took considering the raised issue regarding Padmavati release. Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor starrer movie has created a great buzz before its release. Though the film industry stands by the movie and Sanjay Leela Bhanshali. But Jaykumar Rawal’s letter has added a new phase to this controversy.
Moreover, Mr Rawal has also written a letter to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) requesting that the motion picture be appeared to a panel of master students of history for investigation. As we all know how the things are going badly to Padmavati. Apart from it, the release date of movie has also been extended and the new one is still not cleared.
BJP Letter to chief minister Ban Padmavati
According to the BJP Leader that I have written a letter to the chief minister requesting for a ban on the movie if it holds a kind of stuff having distorted historical facts. He also added that we demand to remove the “objectionable scenes” if there is any in this movie. The movie should release after getting the clean chit of not having distorted historical facts and objectionable scenes.
Mr Rawal also added said he has included this thing in the letter to the CBFC indicating towards the cancellation of the “certificate given to the movie”. “Asking for the CBFC to instantly wipe out the endorsement given to the film ‘Padmavati’. An advisory group including master antiquarians be permitted to watch the film and alter the defamatory dreams for the dialect, content and scenes which undermines, debases and affronts the colossal valor and give up of Rani Padmavati which is being revered by lakhs of individuals,” the letter read.
It is being said that this Sanjay Leela Bhansali film starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh is all about based on Rajput queen Padmavati.
In the midst of gossipy tidbits that there was a sentimental dream succession amongst Padmavati and AlauddinKhilji’s characters, different Rajput and different gatherings have been challenging the film, charging it “misshapes” history and damages the conclusions of the general population.
Historians are, however, partitioned on whether Rani Padmavati even existed.
Mr Rawal said added that actor Ranveer Singh should not have played the character of Delhi sultan Alauddin Khilji in Pamavati. We all know how he is good at acting. It does not sound good that Ranveer played that character. He must examine the character before playing. It would be if he have chosen something else instead of going with this character. He also continued that Khilji has been shown in this movie as a hero while he is not in actually. And our generation believes in movies. What message it is going to convey.
He also questioned if they want the generation to believe Khilji, a hero. It is not right at all. And we are not happy with this. Padmavati going to spread wrong results and the youth will be misguided.
Chief Ministers of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh – all BJP ruled states have are already opposing the release of the movie.
