Content Policy

TheIndianTalks is a free platform for opinions, trending news, Interactions and free speech. With the help of bloggers, there will be so much of information which connects the like-minded, sharing their views. trending news will keep us right on our toes with the latest updates around us. It’s our core understanding that censoring the information is against to a service that itself on Free Speech.

In order to maintain these values, we should control abuses which endanger our ability to give this service and the free expression it encourages. However, there are few limitations on the type of information that can be hosted by TheIndianTalks. The criteria we have defined are those both obey with legal requirements and even help to enhance the services in total.

If you come across any blog which you think violates our policies, please let us know by using the ‘Report Abuse’ link located at the top of each blog under the ‘More’ dropdown. If the blog owner has hide the link, you can even report abuse in the TheIndainTalks Help Center.

Content Boundaries

Our content policies play a major role in maintaining a effective experience for you, the users. Please value these guidelines. From period to period, we may modify our content policies so please check here. When using the policies, In few cases based upon artist, educational, or scientific considerations or even if there are other advantages to the public from not taking action on the content.

Hate Speech: Our platforms encourages free expression. However, we don’t tolerate content which promotes violence over people or groups based on race or cast, religion, disability, gender, age, nationality or gender identity, or whose main purpose is inciting hatred on the basis of these core things. This can be a delicate act, The content is concerned to cross the line if it doesn’t follow any of the above.

Offensive: Content: Don’t post content which is very cruel. For example, of firing, fired wounds or accident scenes without additional context.

Violence: Don’t terrorize other people on your blog. Don’t post any death threats against any other person or group of people and don’t post information which indeed force your readers to take violent action against any another person.

Harassment: Do not harass bloggers or anyone else. Anyone using Blogs to harass someone may have to remove the offending content or even be permanently banned from the site. Harassment is illegal and will lead to serious consequences.

Copyright: It is our duty to respond to notices of alleged copyright. More information about our copyright procedures can be found here.

Personal and confidential information: there is no right to anyone to publish someones personal and confidential information. Don’t post someone else’s debit card numbers, UAN numbers, Phone numbers, and driver’s license numbers.

Manipulating others: Please don’t confuse readers by acting to be someone else or pretending to be an employee of an organization when you don’t. We’re not against comedy – just ignore content which will mislead readers about the true identity.

Illegal activities: Do not indulge Bloggers to get into illegal activities or to endorse dangerous and illegal things. For example, don’t post a blog encouraging people to drink and drive. Do not use TheIndianTalks to market illegal drugs, this may lead to deletion of your content. Those indulging in the abuse of children, we may hand over you to the appropriate authorities.

Restricted Goods and Services: Do not ask Bloggers to sell or help the sale of goods and services, such as alcohol, gambling, pharmaceuticals and tobacco, crackers, weapons, or health/medical devices.

Spam: Spam takes various forms in Blogs, all of this will result in deletion of your account or even blog. Few examples include making blogs which are designed to move traffic to your site or to move it up on search lists, giving comments on other people’s blogs in order to promote your site or product, and removing existing content from other sources for the main purpose of generating revenue or any other personal gains.

Malware and viruses: Do not create any blogs that have viruses, causes pop-ups, trying to install software without the reader’s permission, or even affect readers with malicious code. This is strictly restricted on TheIndianTalks.

Imposition of TheIndianTalk’s Content Policy

Please report policy violations to us by the ‘Report Abuse’ link located at the top of each blog under the ‘More’ dropdown or by clicking here.

Our team looks to user flags for policy violations. If we do not see the blog violate our policies, we will not take any action against the blog or the blog owner. If we find that a blog really violates our content policies, we take one or few of the mentioned actions based on the criticality of the violation:

Place the blog under an ‘adult content’ tab.

Place the blog under an interstitial where only the blog author can view the content.

Delete the violated content, blog post or blog.

Disable the author’s access to his/her TheIndianTalks account Report the issue to user law enforcement.

We may also take any of the above actions if we find that a user has created multiple blogs engaging in repeated abusive behavior. If you have had a blog disabled, do not create a replacement blog that engages in similar activity.
