The second allotment merit list for Odisha will be released online at dheodishagov.in sometime today by The Department of Higher Education (DHE). The second allotment list will include names of candidates, and for the ones that do, it will be helpful during the second phase of admission in Odisha. The data updation will begin on the April 16 and the end of the second phase will see an end on the August 19th at 5 pm. After the results for the Class XII have been released, it has been reported by Indian Express that a total number of 2,34,893 students have applied for degree admission. Out of these, Commerce has the least number of applicants which as per the records stands at 42,835. The Arts and Science on the other have recorded applications at 2,27,790 and 1,30,018, respectively.

Step 1: Start by logging on to the official website of Odisha govt, i.e. dheodisha.gov.in
Step 2: Once you are on the home page, navigate to the DHE Odisha +3 results 2017 link
Step 3: When the page opens up, click on the link that says DHE Odisha 2017 second Merit List.
Step 4: At this point, you will be required to fill up your details such as registration number, password and your Date of Birth.
Step 5: Once all of your details as input by you are accepted, the page with your results will display on your screen. You can download the results for future reference.
In order for you to be on the DHE Odisha +3 level, you must have cleared the Higher Secondary (Class 12th) examination held by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha or any other equivalent. The admission for +3 varies is done purely on the basis of merit which is totaled considering his/her performance at the Class 12th examination and reservation category.
