At E3 2017 Microsoft announced that the Xbox One X will be released on November 7, 2017, a month before Christmas.

They also announced that for the performance it would be offering, the cost will be relatively affordable. The cost will be £449 in the UK and $499 in the USA. The price is close to PS4 Pro, which makes potential buyers think before buying.

On Twitter, Microsoft said information on pre-orders will be announced soon in a live stream by them, on August 20 at 9 PM CEST, which is 12:30 AM in Indian Standard Time (IST)

Xbox One X is confirmed to be able to play all older console games, of Xbox One & Xbox 360. Some original Xbox (the FIRST Xbox, not the recent Xbox One) games will also be supported! Microsoft also announced that the Xbox One X will be playing those games at a higher visual quality than before. xbox one game codes will be available for free on microsoft official site for the coming week.
