Near Peer is an offline chat application which lets you connect with anybody in the radius of 100m. It’s up to you if you want to reveal your identity while chatting. You can either go completely anonymous or can show your identity.
Near Peer is made by two IIITD students Mukesh Gupta(20) and Sujeet Kumar(20).
Near-peer allows you to chat with known and unknown persons without any internet requirement. It is completely independent of your phone network. Also, it does not need any manual connection, you just have to open Near Peer App and you are ready to chat with friends and strangers near you.

You can send messages freely to your peers in private or in groups.
MESSAGE BACKUP : Even when your friend is not connected to you then also you can send messages and we would receive it once he or she comes in your range.
FILE SHARING : Users can also share files throug this app.
DRAWING SHARING :
You can make cool drawing by your hands and share with your friends.
Last but not the Least : Blocking or ignoring unwanted users, clearing chat history, changing user name is coming soon in the next update.
When to use :
1. Think you are getting bored in the lecture where there’s no internet and you want to have a little chit-chat with your friends.
2. Use it to chat with strangers while travelling in public transports like in Metros and buses
3. Use it to share any type of file free and safe.
4. Its 100% secure as there is no server or message storage anywhere
5. You can invite any stranger to chat. It’s up to user to accept or decline the chat invitation.
