According to the BCCI Confirms Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Shikhar Dhawan Released From Indian Test Cricket Squad for the ongoing Sri Lanka series. It is being considered that there were some personal reasons because of that they both have been released. Tamil Nadu Ranji chief Vijay Shankar has been named as Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s substitution. According to the reports it is also cleared that Shankar isn’t being expected to play in the second Test as Murali Vijay will be available as the reserve opener in the squad.
