Arvind Kejriwal wants Delhi Police to get under his control. After the shootout of a girl in Anand Parbat area, Kejriwal questions the integrity and true power of Delhi police and their real worth. Arvind Kejriwal accuse that there is nothing what Delhi police is doing in Delhi expecting registering the complaints after the incident.
Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister of Delhi said that; Prime Minister should spare at least one hour each day to monitor the work of Delhi police or he should handover the police to state. Delhi police is under central govt which is controlled by BJP, rival of Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party. Delhi citizens also have negative responses about the Delhi police and Delhi police is not much friendly to them e, several AAP leaders and Delhiites has accused earlier also.
After the killing of 19-year-old girl in the open road in hot sun in front of 50 people, the credibility of Delhi police has been doubted all over the world. Saving himself from allegations on non performance of the Delhi police, Arvind Kejriwal has spared himself from the all mishap.
Arvind Kejriwal also met the family of victim and offered them a compensation of 5 lakh rupees. Arvind Kejriwal was previously demanding the full statehood of Delhi by which Delhi police would come under him, but central govt has denied this.
