It always a surprise when a news from the past creates a sense of pride in the present. And the same has happened with the member of Indian contingent Yogeshwar Dutt , who have had won a Bronze Medal at the London Olympics in the year 2012.

But as the Russian athlete Besik Kudukhov failed the dope test , now the medal of Yogeshwar Dutt is changing colors! And for good reason!!

He himself took to Twitter to share this piece of information with pride , stating “I got to know this morning that my Bronze Medal has been upgraded to Silver. And I dedicate this medal to all my fellow Indians!”

With this Dutt revives the past by creating a history today , as he joins the bandwagon of Sushil Kumar who that time finished second in 66kg free style wrestling.

So , Yogeshwar Dutt becomes the second Indian wrestler to win a silver medal at the 2012 Olympics held at London.

Besik Kudukhov , the four time world champion and two time Olympic winner died in the car accident a year later when the London Olympics were held.

And he also tested positive to the dope test done by Anti Doping Agency clearing the way for Yogeshwar Dutt to grab his much acclaimed silver medal.

An official confirmation has also been done by the Authority of Indian Sports to comply with the tweet of Yogeshwar Dutt.

But this will happen only if the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) gets the same information in writing from the United World Wrestling (UWW) Body and the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
