The most legendary Phone Nokia 3310 to be launched will be relaunched at MWC !

     Renowned phone leaker Evan Blass said in a report that HMD Global, the new owner of the Nokia, is planning to launch a handset that shares Nokia 3310 features. The handset is all set to launch the device at Mobile World Congress to be held in Barcelona later this month, media reports said on Tuesday.

    According to a report published in Venture Beat, the phone will cost €59 (Rs. 4,175).

    Nokia 3310 was the hit at the time of its launching. The device was known its long battery life, indestructible build and foolproof reliability. The 900 mAh battery offered a standby time of up to 260 hours. Unlike today’s high-tech games, Snake II, Pairs II, Space Impact and Bantumi were widely popular among its users.

    It is to be seen that in this era when a normal smartphone are available at prices starting Rs. 3,000, if people will be willing to buy the phone at a cost of Rs. 4,000.

    Tarun Pathak, senior analyst of Counterpoint Technology Market Research said, “India possesses both brand equity and recall value. Despite of this fact, the price of the handset should be around Rs. 2,000 for people to buy it as a secondary device.”

    It is also said that apart from the 3310, HMD will be announcing three new devices namely, the Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 at the Mobile World Congress.

    HMD Global announced the launch of the launch of the Nokia 6 in China for 1,699 yuan ($246). The device has full HD, 5.5-inch display, Snapdragon 430 system-on-chip, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage alongside microSD support. It comes with a 16-megapixel primary camera, and a 3,000 mAh battery.
