Finally , the wait is over! The clash between Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees and Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil took place yesterday and the Box Office was taken by a huge storm by both the films. Multiplexes has reported around 80% occupancy in mornings and everyone has been eager to know who will win the box office race. Well , our sources reported us that Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees has got a huge opening collection than Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil.
But Wednesday being a working day , still the figures of Raees remained high than Kaabil. Kaabil received a lot of rave reviews but Raees managed to sail smoothly owing to Shah Rukh Khan’s super stardom power! Let us have a look at their 1st day collections!
Raees’ 1st Day Collection:
Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees has seen a humungous start at the box office , it has enjoyed a very great run on the 1st day itself!
Raees has minted Rs 20.42 Crore on the opening day which is actually excellent! Though Raees’s ratings are low when compared to Kaabil but managing to mint Rs 20 Crore on a working day was tremendous success.
With this figure Raees has broken record of FAN , which collected Rs 19.20 Crores on its opening day.
Kaabil’s 1st Day Collection:
Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam starrer Kaabil received applauds and great reviews from every quarter , in spite of positive word about Kaabil even by harshest of the critics , Kaabil collected 50 % lower collections than Raees.
Kaabil 1st day collection was Rs 10.30 Crore but the makers had a high hope and figures like these are bit disappointing.
