The Indian American Pepsi Co. CEP Indra Nooyi has joined the US President Elect Donald Trump’s Strategic and Policy Forum Team that aims in assisting the President Trump in implementing his political and economic agendas , as per the reports published by the Trump’s Transition Team today.
Indra Nooyi is a Chennai born and this 61 year old Pepsi CEO is the only Indian Origin Executive in the 19 Member President’s Strategic & Policy Forum which was announced this week. The other 3 new members were also announced in addition to the existing 16 members. Other corporate biggies are likely to join the forum like the Uber CEO Travis Kalanick , Tesla and SpaceX Chairman Elon Musk.
The forum will be composed of some of the most highly respected & successful business tycoons and leaders of America and will meet the President frequently to share their own views and experience and imply the same with their expertise. Where as the forum will be chaired by Blackstone , co – founder & CEO , Chairman Stephen A Schwarzman.

Trump on this occasion said “America has the most vibrant and innovative companies in the entire world , and the leaders & CEOs are joining the forum today who are at the top of their respective fields. Now my administration going to work together with the private sector improving its business and making it possible to create new jobs here!”
Indra Nooyi , the Chairman & CEO of Pepsi Co. Heads the company which has more than USD 63 Billion in the annual net revenue and more than 35 Billion USD in US itself. Making Pepsi Co the largest US Food & Beverage Company in the world with 110,000 employess & 100 Plants across America.
Though Indra Nooyi was the supporter of Trump’s arch rival Hillary Clinton during the Presidential Campaign and after the latter’s defeat , Nooyi said “After the Trump’s victory , my daughters , gay workers and other employees including non – whites are left devastated as we are all seriously concerned about our safety as Trump is elected the US President. I had to answer a lot of questions from my employees , daughters. They were all crying and in mourning. The only question they were asking me was ‘Are We Safe’.”
And at the same time Nooyi also congratulated Donald Trump on his magnificent victory over Hillary Clinton and said “the process of democracy is done and we are left to continue our lives with it. We have to come together and the life shall go on!”
