Being an educated citizen of India , I Feel it’s been very late in Amending the Constitution written by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and being adopted on 26 November 1949 and came into effect on 26 January 1950.
The Primary intention of the Indian reservation system is to increase the opportunities for social and educational status of the Backward communities and enhance in uplifting their lifestyle by providing them as many as Opportunities.This system provided both scheduled tribes and castes a special quota in both Assembly and Loksabha to encourage them in building up a good Nation.
It was also stated by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar sir to review the situation after 10 years of introducing Reservation system in India by the governing bodies.But due to selfish reasons of our Politicians few more castes have been dragged into reserved categories day by day.
But actually Reservation system is making India weaker with weak governing bodies in practical,It’s a well-known fact here in India if a guy from backward caste gets 40 marks he is eligible as an Engineer but even a guy from forward caste secures 80 marks he is ineligible for the same engineer job. Not only engineering but also in every field we take the same thing is prevailing from years and this is the reason why private bodies are emerging rapidly.
From many decades we have been stating India is a developing country and even after 100 years, we can’t see INDIA as a developed Country due to this reservation system as much talented youth are flying away from the country to serve other nations every day.
Coming to my own experience, I have secured a rank of 396 in Icet and another guy with 30,000. Still, I bet he gets a better campus than me with all fee waivers being a Backward class guy. He comes in a car and still gets fee waiver and me by bus have to the pay the fee as I belong to forward caste.There are lakhs of talented people being neglected just because of prevailing caste based reservation system.
Now its time for a change where the caste based reservations have to be replaced with merit and on Economic status,But as it is not Possible in Incredible INDIA we need to fight about the Economically back ward people from Forward caste and some Reservation has to be given for Balancing the present Situation which may be the solution for many problems Prevailing in INDI
