The 3^rd T20 International in Bangalore (or Bengaluru) on Wednesday could be MS Dhoni’s last at home if the felicitation honoured to him by the Indian Team Management is any kind of an indication. The entire Indian Team felicitated MS Dhoni with a photo frame which features his picture along with the images of the 2007 World Cup T20, ICC Test Mace in 2009, 2011 World Cup and the 2013 Champions Trophy.

The BCCI tweeted about this picture barely an hour before the start of the Bangalore match today. What adds more weight to our indication is that this could be MS Dhoni’s last International game at home was the presence of Rohit Sharma who is not taking part in the ongoing T20 International Series due to an injury.

India will play the next ODIs at home and that could be in October against Australia. It is possible that MS Dhoni may not stretch his cricket career beyond the Champions Trophy in England in July. So a lot will depend on his hunger and form to excel in a young cricket team which brimming with lot of zeal and talent.

With MS Dhoni’s sudden retirement from the Test in Australia showed how he does not want to make a public spectacle of which is the most personal & emotional decision a cricketer takes in his career.
