This comes as a huge relief to all of us , no need to line up infront of the Banks and dry ATMs , we have got petrol pumps at every few kilometres in our country , and we use them to withdraw cash in new currency notes.
Now any one can use his debit card and swipe it and get his hard earned money in the new currency notes of Rs 2000 and collect the same from the petrol pumps.
This moves came into picture when the public sector of oil marketing companies devised this method in association with the State Bank of India (SBI) to ease the tense situation prevailing in the Indian Society , so with this we all can dispense cash upto a limited amount that is Rs.2,000 per person from today onwards.
This decision is taken by the SBI Cheif Arundhati Bhattacharya , after meeting with C&MD of Hindustan Petroleum and with Director Marketing , IOC and Director Finance of Bharat Petroleum and several Senior Officials of Oil Marketing Companies.
With these around 2500 outlets have been configured to help the common man in this time and to withdraw the cash , use the State Bank POS to swipe the debit card or credit cards . But remember , only Rs 2,000 can be withdrawn at one time by a person. This is the report circulated to the Press by the Hindustan Petroleum which will be in effect from today.

And not to forget , all the fuel stations will continue to accept the old currency notes that is Rs.500 and Rs 1000 till the given deadline that is till November 24.
