The bond started withering away
Things started turning grey
But the bond was stronger than the course of time
They are together again
Maybe not yet best friends from her side
But he loves her even more than he ever did
Smiling each time he saw her pic
Unable to reach out to her, he tries to get closer by complaining
Hoping for her to understand
Waiting for her to notice
All the time, whenever he feels alone
That first hug is what he remembers and finds his smile
Her crazy self, making him wonder
And her open heart, making him feel special
They had been together under the same institution for a long time
She knew him
Liked him
Yet never approached him till they had to part ways
During his last days, grabbing onto all her strength, she said hi
She was pretty, so he responded well, and later on he understood her true beauty
That was her heart and nature
How can anyone be so good and kind at heart, he wondered
Never got the answer, and never searched for one
He just knew he wanted to stay friends with her
Being happy and being with her
On his birthday, she sang, gave her collages, and showed him how important he is by starting a countdown a week before his birthday
All of that made him feel special.
She became an irreplaceable part of his life
He went away, even then she stood by his side
He met someone and forgot everyone and everything
And even then, when he fell, she was there to help him stand again
He values his friendship even more
Wants to apologize for being distracted and not giving her enough time
But he doesn’t know how to do that
Yet, he keeps on trying to bring back that spark in their friendship
Because all he wants is his Loco back in his life
The way they used to be
And with an even stronger bond.
He tries to rejuvenate the bond
