    Design & Display

This “G” phone have a slight curved surface with black finish at the back of the phone. In simple words its just like its predecessors (moto g3, moto g4 , g4 plus). It lacks a Corning Gorilla Glass but has a IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a 16M colors display. And the mobile phone is splash proof and not water resistant, for today’s generation we need that a shatter proof and water resistant for sure, why don’t mobile manufacturers understand this ?

The size of the phone is 5″ inch with a 720p display and weighs about 137grams. It has a Front-ported loud speaker and 2-Mics for better listening and recording. It comes with a Dual-Sim Capability for both LTE and GSM.

    Gaming & Performance

I have installed “Modern Combat” and played for about 1/2 hour, what is observed is! The performance of this high end GPU game is average and its lacks speed performance because it has Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 chipset , Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and a Adreno 306 GPU. But when i played other games it turned out to be pretty good with good volume rockers. So they main verdict on the gaming and performance is – Moto g play 4th gen can even handle high end GPU games expect the game wont run as smooth as you think. Overall it has some good specifications for the price they quoted and still its has been on the top charts of the low budget phone in 2016.

    Cameras

It has a 5MP (720×1280) Front Camera and 8Mp (1080) Rear Camera. They improved the camera specifications for such a low budget phone and its a good thing. Even the quality has a standard for both day & night shots! Here are some shots that are taken by Moto G Play 4th Generation.

    Battery Life

The battery life is pretty longer than expected, it stands for about 12 hours on continuous usage on WiFi, Gaming and Social Media. It has a 2800 mAh battery and you just need to plug the turbo charger for 30 mins to fill the battery charge. I’m pretty amazed after experiencing the battery life for moto g play 4th generation

Pros and Cons of Moto G Play 4th Generation

    Pros

    1. Its has a good battery capacity of 2800 mAH with fast charging which could stay a little longer than 10 hours in a day.

    2.  Nano Coating to the moto g play 4th generation makes it a water repellent and you now don’t need to worry when you want  those texting walking on a rainy day.

    3. Its a Gaming Edition Device from Motorola, So the Specialty of this mobile is the battery consumption will not decrease rapidly while playing  games for too long. This is the best thing which i observed having a moto 4 play 4th generation for three days.

    Cons

    1. I am seriously disappointed with the IPS LCD Touchscreen, because it lacks a Corning Gorilla 3.

    2. Its also lack a gyroscope sensor, I was hoping if they could put on a finger sensor too.
