Startup vs entrepreneurs..!?
As we all know there is a growing trend of startups. Not only in India but all over the world
In Hyderabad itself, more than 1000 startups are registered this year.
Are they going to survive for long?
Are they making sufficient profits?
Well, those with great long term plans may survive others may not.
People initiating these startups are commonly known as entrepreneurs.
But we forget that there is a thin line btw an entrepreneur and a startup
A person working to fulfil his basic need is an entrepreneur
A maid at your house is an entrepreneur
A milkman is an entrepreneur
Whereas those with plans to make a profit and run business for a purpose other than the basic need of survival are the people who initiate startups.
If we go by the bookish definition
Entrepreneurship has traditionally been defined as the process of designing, launching and running a new business, which typically begins as a small business, such as a startup company, offering a product, process or service for sale or hire
This may sound similar to a start up. But when we go deep down and see in our day to day environment, in my opinion, there is a thin line between these two.
So for those who see themselves as future entrepreneurs may know these basic differences this might create a base for future …
