A BSF jawan who was deployed along the Indo-Pak border in Jammu and Kashmir has alleged some serious issues of administrative lapses in the BSF.The soldier belonged to 29th battalion of the Border Security Forces (BSF).

He claimed that troops who are deployed on the border are served with bad quality food and sometimes have to go hungry. In a Facebook video reportedly made by BSF Jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav, he gave details about the weather conditions in which they are deployed for continuous 11 hours that too in standing position. In the video, Jawan is seen wearing camouflage uniform and carrying a rifle claimed that while the government provides necessary supplies for them, the seniors and officers “sell it off illegally” in the market for their own personal profit.

Rajnath Singh who is current Home minister has reacted to the allegations and asked a report from the BSF. “Have seen a video regarding a BSF jawan’s plight. I have asked the HS to immediately seek a report from the BSF and take appropriate action,” Singh tweeted.

Yadav claims that the battalion’s breakfast is rationed to just one paratha and a cup of tea, without any vegetables or curry. The below video has gone viral over social medias. The video clearly shows the bad quality of food given to soldiers at the border who have pledged to protect our country.

But, the immediate response from the BSF is saying some other story. According to reports, the BSF responded by calling Yadav a “bad hat” and assured that the food is of good quality which is provided to the soldiers. They told he is a regular offender and disciplinary action has been taken against him in past.
