Being Judgmental

Indians are famous for judging. They judge their neighbours, relatives, politicians, friends and every other person who is famous . They compare every other person with some or the other person and find flaws in each and every person . Especially in rural India , apart from agriculture for men  and household chores for women , all they do and sit together and gossip.

Only a few people who understand the fact that every human has weaknesses , strengths, talent and flaws. Accepting each and every person’s lifestyle around and moving forward without cribbing about not having whatever your neighbours have is a very difficult task for most of the Indians .  People laugh , make fun of other people. Every moral science book in school says ” laugh with others but never laugh at others ” . In recent days I’ve never seen this statement practically followed by people around me . Giving more importance to money and less importance to other person’s feelings and thoughts has become a trend or a fashion which is followed by most of us.
Counting money, assets and profits instead of counting the number of real friends and relatives are a mandatory act. The only thing I want to convey to all my friends and relatives is that we should never think about what others think about us and should never ever belittle someone , their ideas , thoughts, and feelings as 21st-century modern people. The word “modern” is misunderstood by many. According to many being modern is wearing latest and trendy clothes, sporting expensive sunglasses , watches, and other accessories  but being modern is being simply not sophisticated, being broad-minded , and not being judgemental .
