Year 2001 Bollywood’s hit political drama NAYAK: THE REAL HERO starring ANIL KAPOOR in the lead role will be now is taken into consideration for the sequel part of it. The sequel part of the film will be made by the EROS INTERNATIONAL FILMS.
According to the sources, the script of the movie will be written by the hit films story writer KV Vijayendra Prasad. He has earlier had given the great stories of BAAHUBALI and BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN.
Nayak: The Real Hero is directed by S Shankar, and starring apart from Anil Kapoor in the lead role, Rani Mukerji, Amrish Puri, Paresh Rawal and Johnny Lever in the main roles. The music of the movie was given by the A R REHMAN. The film is a remake of S. Shankar’s successful Tamil film Mudhalvan (1999).
The movie’s plot was about the main protagonist Shivaji Rao (ANIL KAPOOR) fights against corruption in the Mumbai city of Maharashtra which is due to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Balraj Chauhan (AMRISH PURI). ANIL KAPOOR was the ambitious TV reporter, working for “Q TV” along with his friend Topi (Johnny Lever). Later on in the movie Shivaji Rao becomes the chief minister of Maharashtra.
The movie was not able to earn much in the box office due to high budget of the movie but it was able to fetch good reviews and support of the fans. The sequel part will be expected to be good by the ANIL KAPOOR fans. Anil Kapoor is presently working in his upcoming movie MUBARAAKA also starring ARJUN KAPOOR in the lead role.
