Only a few months ago Telegram introduced bots in its app and today Messenger Facebook takes that concept with a realization that, however, seems to be much more advanced. If screen readers until now were able to answer questions, or at least to remember appointments, Facebook wants M , the name of the service, to be able to do the actions in the real world. How to buy you shoes, or send flowers to your girlfriend.
All within a Messenger conversation, as you can see in the pictures below, where M is able to interpret the common language , respond, pay without much user interaction. No coincidence that David Marcus, one of the developers, speaks of a ‘ artificial intelligence trained and supervised by humans .
David added that the tests will start today but for the moment we do not know who is involved and what languages are available (English only realistically imagine). In any case we will inform you by updating the article as soon as we have more news about it, because it is a really interesting project.
