Meizu launches MX5 in India at Rs 19,999


On Wednesday Chinese smartphone manufacturer  Meizu launched its new MX5 in India at price Rs 19,999.At present the company is going to sell their MX5 16GB variant and 32GB and 64GB variants will be launched in India at a later date.This new Meizu MX5 will be available in Snapdeal from 2pm IST on Wednesday.


Meizu MX5 Specifications:-

The Meizu MX5 is coming with a  5.5-inch Full HD display with 1080×1920 pixels resolution and the screen also has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It offers a pixel density of 441ppi.

The Meizu MX5 smartphone runs under advanced Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system based Flyme 4.5 OS. This Smart phone is powered by a 64-bit Helio X10 octa-core processor (Cortex-A53) clocked at 2.2GHz  it includes 3 GB of RAM.This smartphone is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Meizu MX5 is powered by 3150mAh Li-ion battery completes the package.It will provides quintessential experience to the user.It measures 149.9×74.7×7.6mm and weighs 149 grams.

Meizu MX5 is going to be available in 16, 32 and 64GB storage variants.The new Meizu MX5 is special for its camera performance,it is expected to house a 20.7MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash,4K Ultra HD video recording,Sony IMX220 Exmor RS BSI sensor and laser auto focus and also features 5 megapixel fixed focus front camera  with f/2.0 aperture also on board.The camera has features of Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR.



This mobile has connectivity options,the dual-sim phone supports 4G (both FDD-LTE and TD-LTE), Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS .

Meizu Technology Vice-President Marketing,Li Nan said,“We have been in discussions with Foxconn and hope to sign the contract soon… We should start manufacturing in India in the next six months.We have 15 people here across functions like sales, marketing and R&D. This team coordinates with our team in China… We will increase this number depending on the growth we see in the Indian market.A significant part of the investment will help Meizu set up more service centres in India.”
