Intel fans will be excited to know that the Core i3-8350K CPU is close to the i7-7700K in performance. There is a leaked benchmark of the CPU, on CPU-Z.
In the above benchmark, the blue bar represents the i3 8350K, and the purple bar represents the i7-7700K. The i3 beats the i7-7700K in Single-Threaded performance, scoring 29.3 points more. In Multi-Threaded tasks, even though the i3-8350K is 16% slower, it’s still pretty close to the i7-7700K.
Keep in mind this is without overclocking, and with overclocking we can expect that the i3-8350K will beat the i7-7700K.
The i3-8350K is a 95W TDP CPU, with 4 cores, 4 threads, and a base clock speed of 4.0GHz. Overclocking capability is enabled. All 8th generation CPUs will not be supported by 200-series motherboards.
