Raina sang a couple of lines from his romantic track “Tu Mili Sab Mila”, composed by Siddhant Madhav. “I would like to give all credit to Siddhant who worked tirelessly on the song. I didn’t have to do a lot and didn’t have to sing like a professional singer since Siddhant managed everything really well by helping me out,” he said.

Suresh Rina Sung A Song In “Meeruthiya Gangsters”:
Suresh Raina admits that fondest memories while on the four-and-a-half-month 2015 Cricket World Cup tour are all related to music. “We were holed up in a room and each cricketer wanted a different track to be played. Sachin (Tendulkar) wanted Mohd. Rafi and Bhajji (Harbhajan Singh) ko Sufi music chaiye. When a batsman hits a century, we play party music and when there’s a clean bowled, it’s sad music, all evening long. When there’s an India-Pakistan match coming up, everyone tunes into songs from Border. Dhoni usually wanted to keep the music motivational and we also scouted for songs by younger musicians,” Suresh rattles off without pausing for breath.
The 28-year-old-batsman points out that the pressure before a match is unbearable and everyone has a hobby to keep his sanity intact. “I sing, and I am now learning to play the saxophone,” he says
Now, Mirror has learnt that Suresh Raina who recently sang,” Pehla ye pehla, pyaar tera mera soni”(Song: Tera Mera Pyaar ,Singer:Kumar Sanu ,Album: Mere Wajood&Other Hits,Released:08/04/2006)on a reality TV show, has bagged his first Bollywood solo soundtrack. The song, Tu mili sab mila aur kya mangu main, is a soulful, romantic track, composed by Siddhant Madhav for Zeishan Quadri’s upcoming crime-comedy, Meeruthiya Gangsters.
“Yes, I will be in Mumbai on Sunday to record the song. The producer, Shoeb Ahmed, is a family friend and insisted I sing for his film. I love old Hindi songs and immediately came on board for this melodious track. We will be improvising the music as we record since I am doing this for the first time,” he says excitedly, adding that his older brother, Naresh, is a popular singer known for his devotional Sai Baba bhajans.
His riyaaz sessions are with Naresh and they usually practice on Kishore Kumar’s songs. He had Lag jaa gale ki phir yeh on his lips, every time he was ragged in college and is confident he has a career in music ahead of him. “During the IPL, when I’m surrounded by players from Chennai and other parts of the South, I am listening to Tamil music and humming new tracks. I sang two lines of one such song at home and my parents were awestruck,” he laughs.
Raina tied the knot with banker, Priyanka Chaudhary, on April 3. He used to only sing for Priyanka earlier and now sings after getting her approval. He recently returned from a high-altitude hot yoga session with his wife, in Amsterdam. “Marriage has brought so many commitments, I’m wondering how the players manage. And I want to sing. Coming from a small town, the glamour of the film industry fascinates me. I’ll always have my game face on, if someone asks me to sing,” he signs off with a laugh.
