Samsung CHG90

Samsung released an ultra-wide 144Hz QLED HDR 49-inch Gaming Monitor. It looks breathtaking and absolutely stunning. Multi-tasking is way better now thanks to the 32:9 aspect ratio – twice the horizontal length as that of a 16:9 monitor, which makes the monitor essentially 2 16:9 monitors without the middle bezels. The immersion in gaming is way more as well and combined with 144Hz and HDR goodness it makes the gaming experience for gamers AMAZING.

The High Dynamic Range (HDR) feature will result in an amazing picture because of the higher contrast in HDR. Dark Areas will appear darker, and bright areas will appear brighter. Mind-blowing detail can be found in areas of AAA games like Dishonored 2, GTA V, Batman Arkham Knight, etc.

The 32:9 aspect ratio is wider than traditional 21:9 ultrawide monitors, so more immersion in gaming will be there. Multi tasking will be better now because of the wider area of work. This monitor could be very popular among programmers.

The specifications seem extremely good, it has everything gamers would ever want. HDR, 144Hz, Ultrawide, 144Hz Freesync, low response time, you name it.

Pricing

The price for this monitor is $1499 USD. In India, the price can be expected at upwards of ₹1,00,000. To be honest, it is worth it if you have the money. (But be sure you also have the graphics horsepower to experience the true potential of this beauty!)

Conclusion

All things considered, the monitor is excellent. Although priced high at $1499 and even more in India, it has everything gamers would look for in a monitor. If you have the money, get it!
