    Rating: 2/5

Plot: Three people (Amit Sadh, Arsh Bajwa) with the help of (Taapsee Pannu) launch an online portal called Running Shaadi which helps young couples to elope with their soul mates so as to get married in Amritsar, India. The film is a light-hearted comedy with a touch of romance angle.

    Storyline and Review:

After getting fired out of a job, Ram Bharose (Amit Sadh) a Bihari migrant along with the support from his cyber friend ( Arsh Bajwa) and his ex-employers daughter Nimmi played by Taapsee Pannu lends her credit card to buy a domain name to start a website which offers matrimony service to help lovers to elope.

The idea of launching online portal Running Shaadi begins and is expected to turn out crazy and fun. But it is not as a clogged screenplay makes it to an average fare with little comic relief.

Nimmi’s Character played by the Pink actress Taapsee Pannu is bit odd as she buys condoms and has an opinion about sex, abortion, and love. She talks like Bollywood’s stereotyped Punjabi girl. She is a wild and headstrong girl.

Ram Bharose character played by Amit Sadh want to make big in life. Even Amit Sadh Bihari accent keeps flattering. His attitude is progressive. The chemistry between Amit and Taapsee also works fine.

The first half of the film convinces you about their business concept and its progress. The second half is little funny which will take you to the joyride. There are some intriguing moments, but it does not engage you much.

Final word: Running Shaadi has kind of interesting moments but it does not engross you much
