This movie is starred with Nikhitha Thukral, Khushie, Sagar Puranik, Duniya Vijay in the main roles, Music is composed by Vani Harikrishna, Cinematography is handled by Reshmi Sarkar and Edited by Maryan D’souza. “After a lot of deliberations, we decided to make a film with an all-woman crew taking into account all issues objectively. The conviction and passion towards cinema is what led us to form an all-woman team. In Shubha’s case, the media became judgemental and portrayed her as a villain. Not many popular films give anything more than an ornamental place for the female lead. The presence of women behind the scenes, as directors or producers, has also been negligible in the male-dominated industry.It is in this context that Ring Road Shubha, a film being made in Kannada with an all-woman crew, strikes as extraordinary. An attempt of a similar kind was made some 10 years ago in Hindi by actor-turned-director Revathy through Mitr, My Friend.
