Google self-driving car involved in first injury accident,4 injured

Google told that on Thursday one of its self driving car for first time meet with an accident.And like the other collisions, Google says it wasn’t at fault.

According to the blog post by Chris Umson,director of Google’s driveless car program,one of the Google’s autonomous test vehicles was rear-ended in its home city of Mountain View, and the three people on board complained of minor whiplash and were checked out at a hospital after collision on July 1st.

It came to know that in California a person must be behind the wheel and their are another two passengers in car.And this car stopped at a green light at an intersection in Mountain View where traffic had backed up in the right lane.The car which was coming behind to it was failed to brake and striked the rear of the google car at 17mph.

Chris Umson,director of Google’s driveless car program said,”Thankfully, everyone in both vehicles was okay, except for a bit of minor whiplash, and a few scrapes on our bumper. The other vehicle wasn’t so lucky; its entire front bumper fell off,”.
