FIR Booked On Bollywood Actor Sunny Deol: Sunny Deol’s Upcoming Movie ‘Mohalla Assi’ was in trouble on Sunday after a The court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Ramchandra Prasad, after hearing the complaint case filed by advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha, directed police to file a first information report (FIR) against the three people and other actors who had roles in the movie.”Mohalla Assi” hurt religious sentiments of people.

The case was filed by  lawyer Sudheer Kumar on 30 june in Muzaffarnagar court according to complaint said though the Mohalla Assi movie could not be released at cinema theaters on orders from a court in New Delhi, it found its way to the internet. The complainant claimed he had seen the movie .

Lord Shiva has been portrayed badly in the movie hurting religious sentiments and goddesses and ‘pandas’ of Kashi have being called names.

“This will agitate Hindu sentiments which may ultimately affect the national integrity,” the complainant said.

The director and producer of the movie besides the actors as the accused.The case has been registered under Section 295-A (deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings or any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs) of the IPC. Apart from Sunny, director Chandar Prakash Dwivedi, producer Vinay Tiwari, writer Kashi Nath Singh and actors Ravi Kishan, Sakshi Tanwar, Saurav Shukla, Mukesh Tiwari and Rajinder have also been named in the FIR.

The film is based on Kashinath Singh’s novel Kashi Ka Assi.The movie is based on a novel by noted Hindi writer Kashi Nath Singh and focuses on the life of a middle class family that earns its bread and butter by organizing religious rituals. Sunny Deol plays the lead role in the movie and Sakshi Tanwar plays the role of his innocent wife.
