Ambati Rayudu got injured on right quadriceps while playing his 2nd ODI match on Zimbabwe and it takes 2 to 3 weeks of rehabilitation.
Due the injury of Rayudu the national selectors have named the Rajasthan Royals wicket-keeper and batsmen Sanju Samson to play in rest of the matches on Zimbabwe in the place of Ambati Rayudu.
Rayudu was in good form for India during the Zimbabwe series. He scored 124(not out) in the 1st ODI against Zimbabweand that is his second international century.In Sunday’s match, which India won by 62 runs, Rayudu scored 41after coming in at No. 3.
