xXx : The Return Of Xander Cage is a different beast kind of movie which can put a section of audience at edge of their seats and the rest of them to sleep. Now it all depends on the type of moviegoer you are , either you can put a fake smile after getting out of the theatre or genuinely adore Deepika’s character in the film.
Blame it on the hype around the film , which will make the opening day’s box office collection to be stronger than the rest of the days. Though , xXx is not an intelligent film , as it is very loud and rambunctious , the entire 150 Minutes was just goofy.
Talking about the xXx plot , Vin Diesel’s character , the extremely fit athlete turned spy Xander Cage is called back from his retirement because of a new global threat. Like any other action adventure movie , even here there is an xXx team who have their own set of skills and manages to do kickass action along with the banter and quiet moments in the film.
Where as Deepika Padukone has been gifted with a good amount of screen time , where she plays the character of a huntress Serena Ungers , she is the one who creates the much needed spark and serves as the backbone in the film.
The most talked about thing about xXx is the magnetic chemistry between Vin Diesel & Deepika Padukone. However , this is a movie which is boring and interesting at the same time , and we are left with one logical choice – to appreciate it no matter what !
