A 5 year old boy was set up in the United State’s President Donald Trump’s executive order was re – united with his mother after going through several hours of detention , the heart – wrenching video shows below.
The little mama’s boy who US Senator Chris Van Hollen (D – Md.) is identified as a US Citizen and a Maryland resident was seen being showered with kisses from his mother as she embraces him at the Washington DC’s Dulles International Airport as reported by the WJZ – TV.
The child’s mother is from Iran and has been declined an interview as she rushed out of the Airport. The family surrounding the mother and son duo meanwhile clutched some balloons and sung ‘Happy Birthday’ to the boy who was flying with another family member.
In the scathing Facebook post , Sen. Van Hollen has criticised the United States President Donald Trump and shared that her child’s detention occurred despite of the senator giving authorities to advance the notice of the boy’s arrival.
Van Hollen wrote, “When I called them later in the evening , they refused to tell whether he was released or still in the custody. Shame on you Donald Trump! We must all remain vigilant & fight back!”
Donald Trump’s executive order which he had signed on Friday, temporarily barring travellers from 7 Muslim – majority countries to enter the United States. And the Syrian refugees are blocked indefinitely.
Trump touted his executive order as a means of ‘keeping radical Islamic Terrorists out of the United State of America’ and said , “We don’t want to admit into our country the threats we are fighting overseas.”
The New York Times reported that on Saturday , a federal judge has temporarily blocked parts of the order and on Sunday , the White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus has reversed the previous stance of the order which barred the green card holders.
