Now it seems that the Supreme Court of India is more sympathetic to the civilians than the ruling government itself.
That is why SC has asked the Centre to immediately take certain measures in order to alleviate the daily hardships faced by the common man , who is living in the false belief of ‘ache din aayenge!’.
It all started when the centre approached the Supreme Court today to institute multiple proceedings in various HCs (High Courts) and LCs (Lower Courts) against the Modi’s demonetisation move.
Earlier this week the SC refused to stay the Modi’s November 8 surprise decision against black money and corruption. And has asked the Centre to immediately take measures to stop the sufferings of the common man who is traumatised by this ill initiative. And are ‘forced’ to stand in long queues to withdraw just a meagre of amount Rs.2,000 out of his hard earned money.
SC said , “tell us , instead of making citizens stand in the long queues to withdraw money. Why cannot you raise the withdrawal limit to a reasonable one?”
The SC Bench was led by Justice T.S. Thakur , which also comprised of Justice D.Y. Chandrachud , who have had a question and answer round with the Centre representative Mukul Rohtagi.
The SC made it very clear that they are not against the Modi’s surgical strike against black money , but does not support the situations where the common man is allegedly forced to face hardships from the government.
