Film maker Kabir Khan who has collaborated with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in films like Ek Tha Tiger , Bajrangi Bhaijaan and now for the Eid 2017 release Tubelight said that, “Salman Khan’s performance in Tubelight is 5 times better than one in Bajrangi Bhaijaan!”
Kabir Khan who attended the screening of the Oscar nominated film Lion on Wednesday in Mumbai , said to the media present there that , “Salman Khan will be seen in a very completely different avatar in Tubelight. If his fans thought that Salman’s performance in Bajrangi Bhaijaan was extra – ordinary then his performance in Tubelight is 5 times much better than Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Audience will surely see Salman Khan’s best performance in Tubelight!”

Kabir Khan was asked about the status of the shooting of film Tubelight , on which the director said , “only a day’s shoot is left now.” And on asking if he feels the pressure of delivering a film with a mega superstar like Salman Khan after giving two back to back hits as Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan , on which Kabir Khan said, “I’ve made a film and now its up to the audience to decide its fate. I do not carry the pressure of the past film. Otherwise , I would have made a movie same like Ek Tha Tiger!”
Kabir Khan added, “Tubelight is almost complete and if people like it then the business of Tubelight will be similar or more than Bajrangi Bhaijaan or Ek Tha Tiger and in case if they don’t, then it would be a little low!”

Talking about the challenges and hurdles faced during the shoot of Tubelight, Kabir Khan shares, “I shot Tubelight in Ladakh , and that was the most challenging to shoot a film in that extreme location.”
Kabir Khan also spoke about the recent Sanjay Leela Bhansali Jaipur incident and he strongly condemned the attack as he found it to be ‘horrific and shocking’ and said, “I cannot believe that it happened in my country , everybody has their own right to express things but it must be done in a democratic way and not in a hooliganism way. That incident was so disgusting!”
