New Secretariat will not be built on Secunderabad Parade ground but, will be built on Bison Polo Ground Instead !

    The Continous protest by the people of Secunderabad to save the parade ground has finally paid off, the government of Telangana has finally given a word that the secretariat would not be built on the Secundrabad Parade ground.

     

    The Parade ground that was used for Celebrations at the National occasion as Independence day or Republic day other than that it be used for training of NFC students, it’s used as the park for daily joggers walkers or sportspersons children of schools etc.

    When the Construction of Secretariat was proposed on the Parade ground, the daily joggers, walkers and the daily users started the protest tp save the parade ground, The protestors came out with Slogans of Save the Parade Ground and Don’t build Secretariat, they also left Black Ballons as the symbol of injustice. last week over 1000 people came together and formed a chain in the protest of the Parade ground.

    Telangana CM has finally spoken on the issue and Clarified that the Secretariat will be constructed in the Bison Polo Ground, not in the Parade ground that came to be a relief for citizens.

    ” Neither the TRS government nor KCR will touch Parade Ground. It will continue to remain as an open space for walkers, sportsmen, children etc.”

    They Choose the Bison Polo groud that was not even used by the army, also the Gymkhana Ground is considered for construction of Secretariat, Legislature and cultural centre on the premises.

    “In fact, we are eyeing 55 acres of land for the new Secretariat. This will include 33 acres of Bison Polo grounds and 22 acres of adjacent Gymknana Grounds.We have received in-principal approval from the Union Defence Ministry for being handed over the Bison Polo grounds…We plan to build a world class Secretariat, a joint legislature building and Kala Bharati with a sprawling garden for state celebrations. The structures would be iconic,” KCR said, Presently the two lands are under the control of Local Military Authority under the Ministry of Defence.
