Moods of Crime Movie Review:
The movie is thought to provoke , tells a tale about two psychology students who lose themselves in the world of crime , whose ending is a huge waste!
It directly shows how the director was incapable of showing crucial scenes in the movie , which is not at all satisfactory.
The story goes as Zubin (Ayaz Ahmed0 is actually a fun loving guy who hails from a rich family which are based in Dubai.
He meets a girl called Nivedita (Anima Page) with whom he falls in love and goes into an open relationship. But this girl is worrisome about her family , is always bogged down by family issues and especially about his younger drug addicted brother.

Upon graduation , they are given the assignment to study about different kinds of criminals.
This means to meet real criminals and understand their motives and plans which can be risky. But both of them prefer this over fictionally writing an assignment.
And there is no guess needed to know what happens next , the duo gets attracted to the dark side and commits the same mistakes , any criminal does, right from conning to theft and even attempt rape and murder.
At one instance , the duo who try to appear as a married couple try to con and loot a jewellery shop and yes they got successful in doing so and they also went unnoticed.
Moods of Crime Ratings :1.5/5
Its a simple tale of how youngsters are falling for the crimes in the society. It clearly shows the short sightedness of the director to limit himself and the story of the film to minute details.
Ayaz and Anima can be awarded passing marks and the professor who has given this useless assignment , Uppekha Jain , is just average!
Its run time is about 115 minute , which can make audience yawn and think why the film was made and could it be shorter than less than 50 minutes!
Only the end can make our day , which was quite simple but humorous and one thinks how a good thriller should be made . Wish the director of this film , take some cues from Anurag Kashyap – the man behind every successful thriller.
