India’s second largest car manufacturing company Hyundai Motor India Limited announces special anniversary edition of the Creta and the first unit has been presented to badminton star Saina Nehwal to honor her victory in the Australian Badminton Open held in Sydney last month.
Hyundai recently associated with Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) as their primary partner for the next four years which includes all three formats of Test, One Day and T20. With this latest event the motor company strengthen its connections with sports, to make sports lover explore the brand.
Saina Nehwal is one of the leading athletes of India has won many competitions internationally including bronze medal in at the 2012 London Olympics. She is also decorated with prestigious awards like Arjuna Award, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, Padam Shri and Padam Bhushan.
Addressing the occasion, YK Koo, managing director & CEO, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), said, “She is the badminton icon of India. Her consistent performance has elevated this sport’s enthusiasm to a great level of admiration amongst badminton lovers globally. We present her the icon of the Indian SUV segment, the Creta.”

It’s motivation for every athlete to receive the recognition for his/her hard work and achievements. The Creta 1st Anniversary Edition come with blazing red and blue decals on sides and rear on the SUV, also including contrasting black roof, 17-inch diamond cut black alloy wheels and 1st Anniversary Edition badge on the C-pillar. As it is only a special edition there are no mechanical upgrades and features are same as previous edition.
Creta is first introduced on 21st July, 2015, and the anniversary Special Edition is expected to hit roads by the end of this month.
