Hyderabad to get two new flyovers soon, No Traffic woes in future !

    The pending proposals of over a decade have been finally approved by the government that may ease the traffic control from the city to the outskirts.

    The traffic issues in the areas of Amberpet Secundrabad, LB Nagar, Uppal are the major areas of traffic and the development of areas is mandatory for the city to move smoothly.


    The Union government has granted permission for the two elevated corridors,  also mentioned in the circular this project was the top priority for the government, also the Municipal administration and urban development minister K.T Rama Rao has advised officials to complete land acquisition within two months to start the expedite later.

    The two flyovers to connect from LB Nagar from Warangal and Secunderabad to Warangal, and LB Nagar to Ramantapur and Secunderabad to ramantapur as shown the above map.

    “Traffic studies were done on Warangal-Hyderabad road connectivity and the importance of this project to the state was explained to the Centre. Also, the Amberpet flyover proposal was pending for a long time without any progress. This project also got approval due to the state government’s efforts,” the minister said.

    The State government was also ready to contribute to the project and the government has given 2 months time for the land acquisitions in the areas of this corridors.

    Uppal to Nandanavanam Bhagynagar is estimated to cost 960 core of which rs 330 crores for land acquisition.

    1.4km flyover at Amberpet had been proposed during the rule of Chandra Babu Naidu but was nit given importance due to the paucity of funds.
