A 12 foot tall Ganpati Idol which is supposed to be made of around 30,000 sticks during the recent Ganesh Festival in Panaji , Goa. This unique idol has found place in millions of hearts as well as in the Indian Book Of Records. An association of non governmental organisation named YUVA , created this beautiful sculpture with a lot of keenness and detailing.
The YUVA Team created history by making the tallest , eco – friendly Ganesh sculpture just from matchsticks.
Shefali Singh , the Records Management Team of Indian Book Of Records , Faridabad , acknowledged the record and appreciated the effort of YUVA Team. A member from the YUVA team were very thrilled and excited to receive a letter of acknowledgement from the Record Management Team of Indian Book of Records.
They were happy to be a part of such a prestigious record and now they are also keen to book their names in Limca Book ok Records and have submitted an application for the same as well.
A member from the YUV Team , Raghuvir Mahale , shares his experience right from the hardwork they have put to make up such an outstanding idol to have their names officially registered into Indian Book of Records “We as a team are very happy to achieve a milestone , a lot of hardwork has been put into it.”
