That night was very long as if it didn’t want to end. For every other person it was a normal night which would end after 5 hours when the sun would rise but for her she didn’t know its end. Anahita couldn’t sleep the whole night as tomorrow would be a new beginning of her life, without that person who was her life. After so many years of being in a relationship she was single now as she had broke up with her boyfriend today.
Anahita was in school when her relationship started with Ruhan. And now they were in post graduation.. Everything was going fine, but suddenly Ruhan’s behaviour changed he started hiding things. They used to be together most of the time but now she used to have no idea about him, where he was. Many a times his phone rang but he didn’t answer that call in front of her. And whenever she asked he just said that it was a wrong number..
One day his phone rang and she just picked it up and there was a girl on the other side and then Ruhan just took his phone and disconnected the call..
Anahita had so many things going on in her mind but Ruhan said that it was a wrong number. But somehow she wasn’t convinced and then one day she thought of following him and he was going to a hospital. She couldn’t understand what was going on but as soon as she entered she saw him with a girl and she just went there and Ruhan had nothing to say..
Anahita kept on asking but he didn’t say a word. Then a nurse came and took that girl inside the ward for abortion and Anahita couldn’t believe it.. He still didn’t say a word. The love that they had for years was just a joke. And then he broke his silence and said yes he was with that girl. And Anahita was shattered that very moment.
She just fell down there and wept and Ruhan just went away leaving her crying. But she wasn’t that weak she somehow gathered her strength and came back home. The night was over and she decided to attend college as she couldn’t be weak to face a person who was a cheat. As she entered her class she just saw crowd inside and they were taking someone outside the class on a stretcher, it was Ruhan and she just came along as whatever happened she always loved him and couldn’t see him in that situation. After reaching the hospital she got to know that he was suffering from a rare disease and there were no chances for him to survive and she didn’t know what happened one day back she saw him with a girl and today what that doctor was saying.. And then she got to know that the calls which he received were from the hospital and that girl which she saw was just waiting for her abortion and she was a married woman. Ruhan didn’t want her to know about his disease and that’s why he said that. And that after 2 days he was going to America for the treatment and in case he didn’t survive she would never come to know about it. He did all this as he wanted their relationship to die before he dies as he knew it would be easy for Anahita to overcome the fact that he cheated her.. As she got to know all this she said that neither you will die nor our relationship I will wait for the day you’ll come back from America as I don’t have any confusions in my mind regarding it.. But he asked what if I don’t come back.. And she told him that u’ll always be present in me, the love which we have and the the memories which we made can’t end and they’ll stay forever….
Feelings stay in the heart they don’t end with a person… You don’t need to be together for a lifetime because sometimes memories are just enough that many lives can be spent with them..
