Paayum Puli Movie Box Office Collections:Paayum Puli being released at the same time as Jayam Ravi’s “Thani Oruvan” has turned out to be a disadvantage for the Vishal Krishna starrer.In its opening weekend, “Paayum Puli” earned Rs 6.5 crore, which is quite an achievement for a Vishal starrer. After having a good opening on Friday, the business reportedly saw a minor dip on Saturday to only recover on Sunday.In Tamil cinema Vishal is one of the overrated actors and his performance in the movie is quite good. He has done a justice to his character. But the movie’s female lead Kajal Aggarwal’s character disappeared in the second half of the movie. Remaining all supporting cast including Harish Uthaman and R.K have done a worthy job.

Now, the official word on the movie’s total collections from Chennai alone is said to be 80.5 lakh rupees at the end of its first three days. Paayum Puli  had a total of 231 shows in Chennai. When it comes to Tamil Nadu box office, it is reported that the film has grossed 7 crore rupees even as the collections might’ve been marred by the fact that it wasn’t exempted from tax in the state. In the United Kingdom, Paayum Puli  is reportedly doing better than any other Tamil film as it was positioned at the second place in its opening weekend, next only to the Hindi flick Welcome Back. Collecting £13,730 which amounts to 14 lakh rupees, looks like the Vishal-Kajal starrer has managed to impress many movie buffs in the English speaking nation.

The First Day Box Office Prediction of the movie from the whole of Tamil Nadu is expected to have grossed 3.3 crore rupees. The opening day has shown decent theatre occupancy throughout the state.

The good word-of-mouth for “Thani Oruvan” has boosted the collection of the film and at the same time affected “Paayum Puli”. After making Rs. 27+ crore in its first week (7 days), Jayam Ravi and Nayantara’s flick earned Rs 13.5 crore in its second weekend. In the first weekend, it had earned Rs 14 crore.On the Third Day Box Office Prediction that is Paayum Puli Sunday Box Office collection, the movie is expected to fetch a 32 lakhs from Chennai alone.The collection from Tamil Nadu is Predicted to be 2.9 crore rupees. Thus the total Paayum Puli 1st Weekend Collection will be close to 9 crore rupees from Tamil Nadu in the first three days.
