The filmmakers did all they could to promote the film. Kangana and Imran came up with an idea of a kissing contest in Mumbai, which was later denied by the police authorities. Despite all rigorous and enthusiastic promotional ventures, the film failed to impress the viewers.

Katti Batti is not romantic -comedy film. Yes, there is a romance and there is a comedy.
