This 2016 Olympics, she has been in a hitting zone where she has made all her opponents look as if they are playing in a lesser pace, she has raised hopes for the country that gold is not too far off. “One match at a time,” she’s been saying.
She is ranked No 10 the last year. “No pressure. It’s just a great moment for me playing the Olympics finals,” Sindhu said. She has beaten all the opponents who have troubled her in her past. Today was the Final against spain’s Marin It was a very tight and enthralling match luck was not on the side of sindhu and she lost to Marin and settled for silver.
Never the less it was one amazing journey for her she is the first indian women to win a silver at the Olympics she has re-written history and she will be remembered for generations to come. Abhinav Bindra was only one in the gold club and now Sindhu has joined him. A big congratulations to her she has made India proud.
