The Tennis star Serene Williams has announced today that she is engaged to Reddit Co – Founder Alexis Ohanian and broke this news with a poem on her verified Reddit Account. Serena Williams , 35 and Alexis Ohanian , 33 did not reveal the wedding date in the postings , which is listed in the Reddit tag ‘ISaidYes’.
Here is what Serena Williams posted on her Reddit Account , “I came home a lil late , someone had already packed a bag for me , and a carriage was waiting , Destination : Rome , to escort me to my own ‘charming’. Back to where our stars 1st collided & now its a full circle. The same table was 1st met by chance , this time he made it not by chance but by his own choice , bent down on one knee and said 4 words & I said Yes”.

The WTA Tour which Serena Williams has dominated for a major part of her career has posted a photo of the engaged couple Williams and Ohanian on Twitter with a congratulatory message.
Serena Williams won Wimbledon’s Crown this year , hence becoming the 71st Singles Title of her career . Later on , she completed 186 consecutive weeks as the World Number 1 , matching Steffi Graf for the longest run in the top rankings in the history , but she was dethroned from that number 1 spot by Angelique Kerber in September this year.
