State bank of India, which is one of the largest banks in the country has revised their service charges on various transactions for its customers which will be effective from June 1st.
The Circular on the website said informed the raise of the charges for each transaction, the circular was announced on Thursday Morning.
According to the circular all the cash withdrawals through will chargers 25/, i.e, the rs 25 will only be charged if the customer withdraws money through ATM through State buddy Mobile App.
The Bank has given the limit of 4 transactions per month for basic savings deposit account.
While all the Normal Bank Savings account will continue to get 8 free ATM Transactions which include 5 SBI ATM’s plus 3 other Bank’s ATM’s, this limit is Vaid in Metro Cities.
While in the Non-Metro cities the limit has increased to 10 transactions which include 5 SBI ATM’s and another 5 Other Banks ATM’s for Free.
Here are all the revised charges for the sevices.
ATM Card Charges: The bank will charge the issue of new debit cards from June 1st and only the Rupay Classic card will be for free.
Cash Withdrawals: Customers will get 4 free transactions for a basic savings account, after which the bank will charge Rs 50 plus service tax at SBI branch and rs 20 plus service tax at other banks.
Cheque Books: The Basic savings account have to pay rs 30 plus service tax of 10 leaf checkbook, and 75rs with service tax for 25 leaf cheque book and 150 plus service taxfor50 leaf checkbook from June 1st.
Online Transfers: Online Transfers through IMPS will charge Rs 5 plus service tax for Rs 1 lakh, rs 15 for above 1 lakh and rs 25 for rs 2 lakh to 5 lakh.
Exchange of Soiled Notes: SBI will chargers 2 for an exchange of 20 notes or if the value is more than 5000 plus.
