EAMCET ( Engineering Agriculture and Medical common test) that a state level examination for admission in Engineering and Medical colleges soon will come to an end with the government to start an All India level examination for all the Admissions.
The National Test agency will be looking for the different national test over different streams on the orders of Finance minister Arun Jaitley, according to the TSCHE chairman Prof.T.Papi reddy.
” NEET is for medical and dental admissions across the country. Likewise, another test will be held for engineering admissions. There is also a proposal to conduct national tests for filling seats in other streams like agriculture, veterinary and pharmacy,” he said.
The Central officials will consult all the states before finalizing the national entrance test.
” One thing is certain. As and when national tests come into being, there will be no need to conduct Eamcet. This is the same for all states. Remember, it took four to five years before NEET was fully implemented,” The TSCHE chairman said
