On 4th January 2017, our own Captain Cool of Indian Cricket Team surprised the cricket fans all over the world with his decision. He left the captaincy of Test cricket in December2014. Now he had taken the decision of leaving as the limited over format’s captain. The fans are really sad with this decision.
The decision was definitely shocking as people will see MS on the field only as a player and not as a captain. MS DHONI’s as a captain is definitely so far the best one till now. But the fact has to be accepted that one day or another it has to be happen. MS DHONI captained the Indian team in limited-overs formats from 2007 to 2016 and in Test cricket from 2008 to 2014.
The one good thing about the decision is the transfer of leadership of Indian Cricket team in the good hands. The capabilities of VIRAT KOHLI as a player and the captain of Test team is undoubtable. Now as the leader of ODI and T20 cricket, he’ll prove to be a good one in that formats too.
